An acclaimed ambulance service organization is seeking a team player to join the team as a Paramedic to provide appropriate, efficient, and timely pre-hospital advanced and basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured in the Dallas Area. Paramedic’s Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough examination of the sick or injured patient and assist other medical personnel.
- Administer prompt and efficient basic and advanced life support care within the limits of licensure or certifications.
- Provide safe and efficient patient transport in the ambulance to the medical facility.
- Responsible for full knowledge of the ambulance’s basic life support equipment and its proper use.
Paramedic’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED or a National or State certification as an Advanced EMT paramedic is required.
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
- Additional certifications such as NALS, PALS, PHTLS, PEEP, and instructor certifications are preferred but not required.
- A valid and current Driver’s License is required; one must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions.
- Essential written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
