Igniting Our Sales Strategies After ASGroup Event
The ASGroup’s spring meeting in Charlotte was a game-changer for our sales team at The Reserves Network. With the theme of “Igniting Sales Excellence,” we left feeling energized and ready to boost our sales performance this year.
One of the highlights was Alex Goldfayn’s keynote. He shared a personal story about his determination to relocate two trees he planted for his kids. After being rejected by 14 companies, he finally succeeded on his 15th try. His grit resonated with me – it’s the same spirit that’s helped TRN build on my father’s legacy.
Alex didn’t just inspire us. He gave us practical tips we can implement right away. His simple system uses “Did you know?” questions to grow business with our clients. One of our sales reps pointed out questions like, “Did you know we also do payroll?” can reveal growth opportunities within our current business.
Another standout was Mark Winter and his model for aligning sales tactics with market conditions and stages of growth. Mark’s four distinct quadrants clarified how our metrics, skills, and strategies need to evolve as we progress. Another colleague appreciated Mark’s focus on ideal customer profiling and determining the right sales approach for each stage.
The AI session from Ben Schiller at ConverzAI was a hit. Some had concerns about AI disrupting our industry, but the demos reassured us that AI will enhance our human relationships and processes, not replace them. We’re excited about tools like the virtual recruiter to streamline our workflows.
I had the opportunity to speak alongside staffing experts Lesly Cardec, Christine Hahn-Proffitt, and Jeff O’Brian in a panel discussion of Best of Staffing winners. We discussed TRN’s mission of providing quality, reliability, and integrity in our staffing solutions. Sharing stories of the strong bonds TRN has built over 40 years and how they’ve grown was a highlight of my time at this event.
Meeting with other leaders emphasized the importance of working together in our industry. I am impressed by the openness and collaboration of the experts and attendees. After gaining so many fresh perspectives in Charlotte, I’m fired up to ignite true sales excellence at TRN. I’m proud of Courtney, Michelle, Tracy, Stewart, and Cory for representing TRN with their own experiences and their openness to learning best practices. A huge thank you to ASGroup for organizing such an actionable event.
