- Maintain patient stability by performing triage for vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
- Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients, answering patients’ call lights and requests, and reporting observations of the patients to the nursing supervisor.
- A High School Diploma or GED and a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
- A current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is highly preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of the legal implications of patient care.
- Work Schedule will vary on availability.
