Mechanical Assembler
Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00 Per hour (DOE)
Torrington, CT
7:00 am – 3:30 pm
You will be part of a dynamic team in Torrington, CT when you apply for the Mechanical Assembler role. You will be responsible for the assembly and installation of various components.
Responsibilities for a Mechanical Assembler:
- Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and blueprints of equipment in the fabrication
- Select the materials and tools required, and plan the sequence of tasks to complete the assembly components/equipment in the most efficient manner
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Qualification or Requirements for a Mechanical Assembler:
- Completion of high school diploma
- Manual dexterity, able to push, pull, and stand for periods
- Manually lift to 30lbs.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, protractors, and rulers
