CNC Operator
$19:00 to $21.00 Per hour (DOE)
Torrington, CT
7:30 am – 3:30 pm
You will be part of a dynamic team in Torrington when you apply for the CNC Operator, duties include studying blueprints and creating the design, cutting metal, and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on their machinery.
Responsibilities of a CNC Operator
- Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and blueprints of equipment in the fabrication
- Operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, or grinders to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, or grinding
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and precision
- Operate Overhead cranes and hoists in a safe and efficient manner
Qualification or Requirements of a CNC Operator
- Completion of high school diploma
- 3 years of related experience
- Manual dexterity, able to push, pull, and stand for periods
- Manually lift to 30lbs.
