Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Pay Rate: $17 hourly / $35,360 annually
Location: Houston, TX 77081
Hours: Scheduled shift may vary depending on what is available upon hire. Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 9:00am-6:00pm or 10:00am-7:00pm with a rotating Saturday
A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Take inbound and outbound phone calls to collect monies.
- Monitor debtors accounts and follow-up to ensure payments are made.
- Utilize various skip tracing techniques and collection strategies to locate right parties.
- Collect balances and set up appropriate payment plans.
- Review accounts to identify adjustments and discrepancies.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Must be bilingual; Portuguese or Spanish
- Basic computer skills with the ability to switch between computer systems
- Able to communicate clearly to convey information effectively.
- Strong listener with the ability to resolve escalated calls.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization.
- Knowledge of FDCPA, HIPAA, state and local collection laws.
