CNC Tool Room Machinist
Pay Rate: $22- $27 hourly compensation.
Location: Sussex, WI
Hours: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-axis CNC Machines to produce high-quality one-of-a-kind parts and components for our Tool & Die shop. The CNC Machinist will work with a variety of materials and must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate 3-axis CNC machines to produce parts and components.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, etc. to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures.
- Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot CNC Machines.
- Keep work area and machines clean and organized at all times.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience machining custom one-of-a-kind parts.
- Proficient understanding of G-code.
- Knowledge of cutting tool selection for highest efficiency and accuracy.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail.
- Exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting to 50lbs.
