- Schedule procedures, diagnostic tests, and pre-op/post-op appointments.
- Verify insurance benefits and discuss insurance information with the patients.
- Collect co-payments and deductibles for procedures.
- Ensure all patient paperwork is completed for surgeries.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly recommended.
- One (1) year of experience as a Surgery Scheduler/Insurance Verification Specialist is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills are a strong plus.
