Maintenance Electrician – Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $36.15-$41.60/hr based on qualifications and experience
Location: Milwaukee
Hours: 2nd shift, Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 10:30PM (rotating weekend coverage)
3rd shift, Monday – Friday 10:30pm – 6:30am
Training will take place on 1st shift (6:30am – 2:30pm)
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be joining a dynamic team at a growing manufacturing company as one of the most critical production roles at the business. You will ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts
- Assemble, install, adjust and calibrate mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment. Dismantle, repair, rebuild and replace equipment and parts as needed
- Provide assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleague
Requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or technical training and 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision
