Title Examiner

Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm; flexible schedule
A national law firm is seeking to hire Title Examiners to join our PRC department. The PRC department reviews real estate title documents to provide clear title reports and help identify the person(s) that should be served to collect delinquent property taxes. The title examiners will obtain title examination materials, review the document information, and create run sheets, which are an index or abstract of all recorded documents affecting the title to a tract of land for a given period of time.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain title examination materials
- Review the document information
- Create run sheets
- Responsible for providing information regarding the property owners, filed liens, and the legal description of the property assessed under a delinquent tax account.
The ideal candidate should possess the qualities below:
- Previous experience is required (1-3yrs) or (3-5yrs)
- Office experience is required
- Reliable
- Understand legal documents
- Detail oriented
- Critical thinker
- Strong Reading skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Time Management skills
