Location: Midland, GA
The Product Development Analyst I is essential in supporting the design, development, and launch of custom medical kits for our Sales and Account Management (EAMS) teams. This entry-level position involves conducting research, analyzing market trends, and providing recommendations to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems, optimize kit configurations, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction. A keen eye for detail and graphical design is crucial for success, as the role entails delivering innovative products that meet both customer and industry requirements.
As a Product Development Analyst I, you will:
- New Product Development: Design and develop custom medical and laboratory specimen collection kits tailored to specific customer needs, ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and industry standards.
- Artwork & Marketing Coordination: Coordinate the design, setup, and revisions of artwork and promotional materials, collaborating with customers, sales teams, and external vendors throughout the creative lifecycle.
- Kit Configuration & Compliance: Stay updated on specimen transport regulations for couriers and carriers, ensuring kits meet regulatory standards while optimizing for cost-efficiency and customer preferences.
- Pricing & Procurement: Negotiate pricing and terms for kit components and marketing materials to secure competitive rates, supporting sales teams in achieving customer price targets.
- ERP & Product Data Management: Set up new products and items in the ERP system, collaborating with Purchasing to ensure accurate pricing, availability, and order quantities.
- Consultative Sales Support: Partner with sales teams to identify customer pain points and provide tailored solutions, effectively communicating product configurations and pricing options.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) & Product Labeling: Create and manage Bills of Materials and product labeling for new kits, ensuring all components are accurately documented and sourced.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training to the sales team on product offerings, design processes, and regulatory updates to enhance their ability to serve customers effectively.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related 2+ years’ experience in field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (MSWord, MSExcel, TEAMS, Tableau, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
