Job Description The Extruder Operator is responsible for monitoring the extrusion processes and producing various sheet widths and thicknesses of foam rolls according to order specifications. This role involves making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality while adhering to company safety and quality standards. Operators will report any machinery inconsistencies to management and maintain accurate production records.
Responsibilities:
Set up and start the extruder, making die adjustments as necessary.
Monitor line settings and address process changes to minimize disruptions.
Ensure product quality using measurement devices such as calipers and scales.
Complete quality control paperwork and daily production tracking.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and perform simple math, with good command of the English language.
Proficient in reading and using measurement instruments.
Forklift certification required.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
