- Utilizes high field magnetic energy for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
- Imaging services vary by location, therefore, performance of certain MR and MRA exams may be required depending on assigned site.
- Utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS).
- May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties.
- One (1) year of work experience as an MRI technologist.
- MRT registry within one year of hire or MRT-General Certificate or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist).
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology OR education sufficient to meet the ACR accreditation guidelines for an MRI Tech.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills are required.
