Duties of the Sourcing Agent:
- Product and service procurement
- Soliciting bids, evaluating quotes and determining the best supplier to achieve maximum cost/benefit relationships
- Support Negotiators and sourcing specialists through various administrative tasks : distribute and collect NDAs, organize and prepare post drawings, schedule meetings on behalf of sourcing leads and attend meetings to record valuable information
- Create Pos based on quotes and dispatch, expedite, collect information and close Pos
- Set up new Suppliers and create bid tabulations and final documentation
- Support other departments through various administrative tasks
Requirements of the Sourcing Agent:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft or other Supply Chain Management/ ERP software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Knowledge of procurement processes from start to finish
What to Expect as the Sourcing Agent:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
