Precision metal stamping company is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in precision metalworking and expertise in creating, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, and fixtures essential to our production process.
As A Member of This Team:
- Construct, modify, and condition metalworking dies as assigned
- Fabricate new gages, cutting or forming tools, and fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications
- Perform precision work with exacting tolerances and dimensions
- Create and modify tools, dies, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes
- Conduct regular maintenance on dies to ensure peak performance
- Work with high-tolerance components, up to 1,000
- Ensure ISO compliance in all production activities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications with accuracy
- Operate machine tools, including CNC equipment, for tooling and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tools, dies, machine settings, materials, and processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, supporting a safe, efficient workspace
You Will Need:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in prototyping and die maintenance
- Proven ability to work with high-tolerance outputs
- Familiarity with ISO compliance standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience with CNC programming and operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
