Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States is looking for a reliable Maintenance grounds keeper.
As a Maintenance grounds keeper your primary primarily responsible for maintaining a clean and safe property.
Your New Role:
In the role of Maintenance Groundskeeper, your responsibilities will involve ensuring cleanliness and safety across the facility. This includes maintaining clear roadways by removing debris and trash, as well as conducting daily upkeep of property buildings and grounds. It's essential to adhere to necessary safety precautions while performing these tasks and to be willing to cross-train for alternate assignments and assist in other work areas as required. Additionally, you'll be responsible for mowing grass on the property and utilizing a weed eater as needed. Any additional duties requested by your supervisor or manager should also be addressed promptly and efficiently.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain the roadways throughout the facility clean of debris.
- Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
- Observe necessary safety precautions.
- Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
- Responsible for mowing grass on property as well as using a weed eater.
- Willing to reliably fulfil the designated work schedule inclusive of overtime.
- Committed to always working safely including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation.
- Positive attitude; good team player
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift and stack objects 15 to 20 lbs.
- Work involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing ladders and staircases.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, rain.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
