Pay Rate: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting and cash reconciliation? We are partnering with a client who is seeking a temporary Cash/Accounting Specialist to join their team and support their finance group during the busy holiday season. This role offers the opportunity to perform critical tasks such as cash and bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and clerical functions while contributing to the efficiency and success of the organization. Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex cash/bank reconciliations, reconciling the GL activity with bank transactions
- Input General Ledger entries as needed
- Research variances and resolve reconciliation issues with direct supervisor
- Create and maintain client bank reconciliation notes
- Maintain logs used by the Recon Department
- Perform a variety of clerical functions, including data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying of documents
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications or Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred
- Two to five years of relevant experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP software, and Excel required; Oracle experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
