QuickBooks Office Administrator
Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00
Location: North Olmsted, Ohio
Hours: 1st shift hours, flexible, 8am-4:30pm
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized QuickBooks Office Administrator to join our team. This position is integral to our finance team and involves managing financial data, handling billing, and supporting overall office operations. The role combines financial, administrative, and payroll responsibilities, offering an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s success.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and other financial accounts.
- Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
- Assist with budget tracking and expense management.
Administrative Support:
- Perform general office duties including answering phones, filing, and ordering supplies.
- Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and organizing company events.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems.
Payroll and HR Support:
- Process employee payroll in QuickBooks and maintain accurate payroll records.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly financial and administrative reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial procedures.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks, bookkeeping, or accounting.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
