DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA and Masters a plus
- 5+ years’ experience within the agricultural, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
- Experience working with ERP and Accounting software – Great Plains
- Grain accounting experience a plus
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS CONTROLLER?
- Provides accurate and timely financial information and analysis
- Partner with Leadership including General Manager, CFO, and COO – provide financial guidance
- Ownership for financial and accounting matters including general ledger closing, financial planning & budgeting, cost accounting, variance analysis, financial reporting & inventory control
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines etc
- Understanding of tax laws, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and cost accounting standards (CAS), etc
