Job Description:
The Accounts Payable role supports day-to-day accounts payable tasks and various clerical office functions as assigned. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor correspondence, and project follow-ups. The Accounts Payable role supports day-to-day accounts payable tasks and various clerical office functions as assigned. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor correspondence, and project follow-ups. Join a dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for payment of approved trade contractor/supplier invoices, utility bills, and SG&A invoices with accurate coding.
- Match weekly ACH/check backups and handle weekly scanning and filing of invoices and payment records.
- Correspond with vendors and review monthly aging statements to address discrepancies or outstanding invoices.
- Upload sales contracts and apply/renew annual model home alarm permits.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- One to three years of related experience or equivalent education and training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Demonstrated proactive approach and strong customer service skills.
- 10-key proficiency required.
