Job Description
The A/R Legal Clerk will assist in maintaining the Accounts Receivable (A/R) system. A/R Legal Clerk is also responsible for maintaining financial records and processing financial transactions, monitoring and dispensing petty cash, updating invoices, accepting payments, and storing, tracking, and distributing client filing fees to the appropriate staff member upon submission
of legal applications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the Accounts Receivable System for the Cabrini Center. Collect client payments, create credit memos, post payments, and produce an income report monthly.
- Maintain invoices, and cash receipts, answered questions regarding clients' accounts, and made collection calls on aged A/R accounts, as needed.
- Safekeep, track, process, and distribute client filing fees, following all appropriate security measures and program policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of experience working in accounts receivable or accounting-related functions
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $37,440 -$45,760, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
