Title Contract Administrator
Pay Rate: $30.00
Location: Downtown Houston
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
The City of Houston Public Works & Engineering Department is looking for a Contract Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Follows up with management on contract compliance issues. Maintains current and accurate records on leasehold information; conducts inventories and ensures compliance with agreements. Interprets contract documents and assists in the resolution of disputed issues. Works with finance group and other City departments to resolve problems regarding agreements.
- Works with operational personnel to ensure compliance with agreements. Coordinates with other City departments on issues related to processing contract documents. Researches contract issues and prepares information relating to contracts, agreements and practices; drafts correspondence to various individuals relating to established agreements.
- Receive and process treated and untreated water contract applications Manage and maintain Water Supply Customer Contact Information (using current software application, training provided), spending authority and expiration/renewal tracking. Verify work orders, Prepare reports, Drafts correspondence and communication with internal and external customers.
- The purpose of this position is to ensure the IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure (hardware, software, voice and data networks, storage, servers, mobile and wired telephony) is maintained and works reliably to meet business needs by providing day-to-day operational support for existing infrastructure services and end-user support for those services; completing moderate to complex technical assignments and project-based work to promote the effective use of new and existing technology. Receive and process treated and untreated water contract applications.

List Qualification or Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Government or closely related field
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of contract compliance experience are required,
