Medical Equipment Transporter
Salary Rate: $14.50/hr.
Location: Houston, TX (Close to Medical Center)
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Temporary
We are looking for a skilled Medical Equipment Transporter who will transport case carts from ASC to storage unit and support clinical services. Under the guidance/oversight, the Medical Equipment Transporter will be responsible for performing clerical duties with supporting ASC department.
What you will be doing:
- Assist the ASC department with transportation of case carts from the ASC floor to storage trailer located outside.
- Delivering case carts that contain dirty/clean instruments, so Blood Borne Pathogen training is required.
- Will on average complete 30+ runs daily for the ASC department.
What is Required:
- Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years of experience in working in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Basic mathematical and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds and remain on feet for 80% of work time.
- Must be able to push/pull 100 lbs.
