- Reviews, interprets, and completes quality control procedures and technical troubleshooting.
- Performs weekly preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Accessions samples for in-house testing and referral laboratory testing.
- Helps secure media and supplies for research studies and manages trial supply requests.
- Secures media and supplies for clinical testing and research studies and manages supply requests.
- Assists in the review and revision of laboratory policies and procedures and in the preparation for laboratory inspections by various regulatory/accrediting agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Complete a US equivalency for individuals with foreign education.
- Three (3) years of experience is required.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist or equivalent or eligibility to obtain certification within 2 years of hire date is required.
- Work Schedule of Monday through Friday, 1pm to 8pm
