Job Description:
Serve as the In-House Coordinator for a leading Florida non-profit clinic, facilitating communication between staff and hospital personnel to support organ and tissue donations for transplant recipients.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary communication link between staff and health care teams to facilitate organ and tissue recovery for transplantation, using specific protocols and skills.
- Understand each hospital’s working and political environment, determining requirements and enlisting cooperation through strong interpersonal communication.
- Identify potential donor referrals with hospital staff, review medical records, complete physical assessments, and discuss donor information with hospital personnel.
- Discuss time-sensitive donor disclosure with families and hospital staff, following donor disclosure forms and protocols.
- Participate in quality assessment performance improvement activities, meetings, special projects, and activities as directed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- R.N. or B.A./B.S. degree in social services or allied healthcare field required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or move equipment from 1 to 75 pounds.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and possess strong public speaking and problem-solving skills.
- COVID vaccinations, TB testing, reliable vehicle with a good driving record, and current Florida State license required; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share that the base salary range for this position is $67,400 – $79,500 Annually not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
