Job Description
The Technical Manager provides management and oversite of the plant’s quality and environmental systems. Directs Quality Management System to implement quality systems, procedures, and methods. Monitors and ensures compliance with quality policies, procedures, and related customer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for internal quality and customer complaint issues. Advise managers of specific quality issues or trends and work to ensure systems are in place to meet/exceed customer expectations
- Work with customers, customer service, sales, and plant personnel to establish technical requirements for the products and services provided while resolving customer complaints effectively and efficiently
- Oversee facility Test Labs, equipment calibrations/maintenance, document/management reviews, and employee training as it relates to the Quality
- Lead/Manage all internal and external regulatory compliance audits and oversee all required follow-up corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting activities to ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements, Areas of activities include air, wastewater, storm water, solid and hazardous waste, SPCC, CERCLA/EPCRA, TSCA, AND FDA
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Experience managing a quality management system
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
- Project Management experience leading teams
- Possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10 or more years of relevant experience

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $96,000 -$137,000, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
