Job Description:
An apartment maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality of a building, handling repairs to plumbing and appliances. They respond to service requests from residents, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure tenant satisfaction. Routine inspections and preventative maintenance are conducted to catch problems early and minimize the need for emergency repairs. The technician may also assist with general upkeep, including tasks like painting, carpentry, and maintaining building safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other building components.
• Respond to resident service requests, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including tasks like painting, carpentry, and ensuring building safety compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to pass a drug screening test
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of residential maintenance required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
