Job Description
Work with a leading provider of advanced drilling solutions as a CNC Machinist in Conroe, TX. This temp-to-hire role involves setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, validating machine programs, and interpreting blueprints. You’ll use your expertise with Fanuc and Haas controls to run multiple machines and inspect finished workpieces while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills.
- Validate and adjust machine programs for accurate operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished workpieces using various tools to ensure quality.
- Utilize Fanuc and Haas controls for machine operation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machine experience.
- Proficiency with CNC Mills, including Fanuc and Haas controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
- Experience with CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills preferred.

The base hourly range for this position is $26 to $32 an hour PLUS $1.25 an hour shift differential, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
