Job Description
The IT Tech Level 1 role offers support in various helpdesk functions, monitoring alerts, and handling backup alerts. The position involves a contract-to-hire opportunity, where the IT Tech will become a full-time employee after meeting performance milestones. The role requires 10% travel to client sites once the position transitions to full-time. The IT Tech will also participate in a weekly on-call rotation, providing support when clients need assistance, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide helpdesk support functions for end-users
- Monitor system alerts and backup alerts
- Travel to client sites (10% of the time) and use personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation for client assistance (limited weekend support)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in IT support or related field
- Strong knowledge of helpdesk functions and alert monitoring
- Ability to travel to client sites using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Willingness to participate in weekly on-call rotation

The base salary range for this position is $35,000–$37,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
