Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to provide support on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensure timely delivery to appropriate departments, and assist with general office mailroom duties as required. This role is perfect for someone seeking flexible, intermittent work while contributing to the smooth operation of our mail handling processes.
Note: This position is on a flexible, as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours. It is ideal for individuals seeking intermittent work or supplemental income.
Responsibilities:
- Experience running mail machines that are 3 yrs. old or newer, Neopost or Pitney Bowes – preferred
- Timely and accurately distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Sort and date stamp incoming mail and distribute to department mail areas
- Run outgoing mail on mail machine
- Process outgoing FedEx packages
- Deliver and pickup boxes, (must be able to lift to 25 pounds)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1 year of mailroom experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Flexible availability to work on an as-needed basis, including short notice
- This role requires periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting in a typical office or mailroom environment

The base salary range for this position is $18.00/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
