Job Title: Cost Analyst/Pay Rate: $38.00/Mon-Fri / 8 am-5 pm / Onsite / Temporary

Job Description
As a Cost Analyst, you will work with the production team to maintain and review product standard costs in SAP. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing cost variances monthly, supporting financial audits, and contributing to internal control activities. You will also assist with accounting projects and recommend process improvements to optimize cost management.

Responsibilities:
•    Perform cost month-end closing on the 1st working day and prepare journal entries as necessary.
•    Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all cost components are included before closing.
•    Review labor and overhead standard costs periodically, proposing changes as needed.
•    Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare variance analysis reports for the management team.
•    Assist and lead special projects, including process improvements and ensuring adherence to accounting policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
•    Minimum of 5+ years of accounting or audit experience; 5+ years in cost accounting preferred.
•    Strong SAP ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
•    Experience with SOX compliance.
•    Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $33.00–$38.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
