Job Description:
As a Sterile Processing Assistant, you will assist with the process of cleaning, wrapping, sterilizing, storing, and distributing medical instruments and/or supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, wrap, sterilize, store, and distribute instruments and/or supplies utilized
- Identify various external sterilization indicators on equipment and supplies and ensure that the integrity has not been compromised
- Assist in cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments and/or equipment as directed
- Unload the Washer/Disinfector and transport equipment to the Prep and Pack area
- Inspect, wrap, pouch, and barcode items in accordance with proper procedures in preparation for sterilization
- Unload sterilizer carts and place equipment in the proper locations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of Central Services sterilization processes and techniques

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the above range is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
