Job Description
As a Yard Jockey, you will have a big impact on the daily success of products being picked and pulled for distribution across the United States. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a yard jockey transporting containers in the yard, ensuring they are at correct bay doors, and keeping order in the yard.
Responsibilities:
- Operate yard jockey within the yard.
- Perform daily jockey inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Safely handle and transport materials in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and logging items.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure timely task completion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven yard jockey experience, 2 years’ experience preferred.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Reliable transportation and availability for the specified schedule.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
