Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled technician to install and repair equipment while ensuring optimal functionality and performance. The role involves examining work orders and collaborating with equipment operators to identify issues and determine the cause, whether mechanical or human error. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment to prevent malfunctions. Additionally, you will maintain detailed equipment logs, recording performance issues, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair equipment.
- Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.
- Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
Qualifications:
- Past welding/fabricating skills dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and piping.
- Strong electrical background
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work well independently as well as with a team
