Job Description
As a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or written communication to follow up on overdue accounts and arrange payments
- Negotiate payment terms and establish repayment plans that align with company policies while considering customer circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and ensure all activities are updated to ensure a clear audit trail.
- Work closely with internal teams, such as billing, sales, and customer service to resolve account discrepancies and improve collection processes.
- Prepare and submit reports on collection activities, delinquency rates, and account statuses to management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette
- Collections Experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.

The base salary range for this position is $31,200, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
