Job Description
A leading manufacturer of metal stamped products is seeking a Die Set Up/Automatic Press Operator in Valley City, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic punch presses, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining quality control. You will work closely with the production team to meet manufacturing goals while following safety and inspection procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material handling, scrap removal, and finished product movement.
- Perform in-process inspections and monitor production for quality assurance.
- Report labor time, part counts, and production issues to supervisors.
- Conduct equipment safety checks and basic maintenance.
- Follow production schedules and operate stamping equipment efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automatic Punch Press Operator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, push, pull, and reach in a production environment.
