Job Description
As a Shipping Associate, you will ship items and transport materials using a company box truck. The role involves ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining a clean driving record. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in shipping or logistics and be comfortable handling various materials. Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport materials between locations while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Load, unload, and secure materials for transport, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Follow delivery schedules and coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a box truck or similar vehicle preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed for loading/unloading.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment tests.
