The Reserves Network Acquires Hire Alternatives
The Reserves Network, a leading staffing provider of office, industrial, professional and technical talent, has acquired North Carolina-based staffing firm Hire Alternatives.
Founded in 2010, Hire Alternatives is a full-service staffing company that provides employers with temporary/contract, direct hire and temp-to-hire help throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. The company will maintain the Hire Alternatives name and brand, and operate as an affiliate of The Reserves Network.
Pete Pappas, founder and president of Hire Alternatives, transitions to the new role of senior vice president of strategy and culture. Day-to-day operations of the Hire Alternatives branches will be managed by Trevor Jefferson, vice president. All internal employees will remain with the company at its seven office locations.
“Hire Alternatives and The Reserves Network have a long history of working together in various capacities,” says Pappas. “Not only do we share similar business models and geographic locations, but we also hold the same core values of developing successful partnerships with our customers based on trust and confidence.”
The Reserves Network began serving the staffing needs of the North Carolina business community in 1998 and expanded into Georgia in 2008. Hire Alternative’s Asheboro, Burlington, Gastonia, Greensboro and Wilmington North Carolina offices join The Reserves Network’s locations in Charlotte, Elkin and Statesville. A Smyrna office adds to The Reserves Network’s existing Georgia locations in Duluth, McDonough and Savannah. The Hire Alternative’s Danville office in Virginia will be The Reserves Network’s first location in the state.
“Hire Alternatives joining The Reserves Network is a natural fit,” says Neil Stallard, CEO of The Reserves Network. “Both companies share a vision of providing elite service to our customers and employees. The company, with its talented team, is the right partner for us to grow and expand our presence in these markets, and we’re excited to now have them as a part of our family.”
Adds Nicholas Stallard, chief growth officer of The Reserves Network: “Hire Alternatives is a perfect compliment to our long-term strategy of continuous growth and further development of service offerings and capabilities, with the Southeast being one of those specific markets. It’s an exciting time for both companies.”
