5 unique reasons why you should partner with a strong staffing agency

Post by:Nathan Wiese October 15, 2024October 15, 2024

Often times you are getting 20 calls a week from people like myself trying to pitch their firm to you and because you have 35 emails you need to respond to, 4 fires to put out, and a voicemail box full of spam so your first thought is to either brush them off or send them to voicemail.

While I understand that some of us can be pretty….. well persistent in nicer words all of those tasks might be more of reason to at least listen to them. Here are 5 unique reasons why that person on the other end of that phone may be able to help solve some of those 35 emails and a couple of those fires.

Ownership of Liability

There are a lot of risks that come along with hiring a new candidate from unemployment, risk of ruining your company culture, onboarding, and legal issues like workers comp. When working with an agency many of these risks will be our responsibility until you have decided that those risks are no longer a concern and you want to transition them to your payroll. If they aren’t a fit it is as simple as letting us know and we can do our best to find the right fit for that candidate. Keep in mind a great partnership will require communication from both the firm and your company to ensure that we can find the right candidate the next time.

A Way to Help Repair Your Brand

A bad supervisor could lead to a horrible Glassdoor rating which can damage your company’s brand for quite some time. This would prevent quality candidates from even applying or if they do rejecting your offer.

An agency can help lessen the blow by being a voice for your company and a chance to explain to a candidate the steps your company took to fix the issues. Provided our candidates are taken care of they then can become the best advocates resulting in a better long term reputation.

Candidate Referrals

Often times when an agency treats its candidates right you will see brand loyalty from those candidates. When this happens you will often see your candidates refer their friends family and acquaintances to the agency that got them the job that they love. This loyalty is often passed on to the company that those candidates work at resulting in better employee retention and quick fill times.

Candidates from Out of State

Agencies and firms with a strong out of state presence will often receive more candidates and some of those who may be traveling to a new location are likely to search for an agency that they are familiar with. Often times candidates will work with an agency because of the easy and efficiently. Essentially a strong agency acts as a virtual storefront for jobs and a single application can be the ticket for multiple opportunities.

Some Candidates Seek Consultation

Often times candidates who apply independently stick with jobs that they know or on jobs that they have worked in the past. When working with an agency they have the opportunity to work one on one with a recruiter and with a strong recruiter they may find hidden talents or skills which allows the recruiter to consult with the candidate on a job or opportunity that they may have never thought about creating an entirely new career path. A strong recruiter will often leave no stone unturned seeking the right place for the right person.

If you are a company either dancing with the idea of working with an agency or you are considering making a switch to a different partner I would love to chat and learn more about your company to see how The Reserves Network and your company could partner up to not only help your company but the potential candidates that would love to work there.
