What Should You Bring to a Job Interview
Preparation is the key to a successful job interview. It is your chance to prove to the employer that you are the best person for the job. Of course you should dress appropriately and research the company before your interview, but what you bring may very well be what tips the scale in your favor.
Always, always bring at least three resumes with you. You have been told you will be interviewing with the hiring manager, but what if the manager wants you to meet the human resources person and you have no resume to give them. Be prepared!
A sheet of paper with at least three professional references to give to the interviewer is the next must.
Finally, you should have a blank thank you note waiting in your car. After you leave the interview, write a note thanking them for the opportunity and restating your interest in the position.
