Job Description :
An Accounts Payable Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of an organization by managing outgoing payments and vendor relationships. Their primary duties include reviewing and processing invoices, verifying the accuracy of transactions, reconciling account discrepancies, and maintaining organized financial records. They work closely with other departments to ensure timely payments while adhering to company policies and financial regulations. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and payment records.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Assist in month-end closing by preparing reports and ensuring all accounts payable activities are accounted for.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Handle expense reports, reimbursements, and other accounts payable-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test
- Must have 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable

The base salary range for this position is $41,600 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
