Job Description
Accounting Manager role located 30 minutes Southeast of Lincoln with one of the premier Ag organizations in the Midwest. This role is ideal for an accounting manager who possesses excellent financial reporting and month-end close experience and is looking to work with a company that really cares about its people and is on extremely solid ground financially. In this role, you will lead all accounting-related duties for this organization as well as direct the performance of a team of 4 Accountants. You will use your excellent multi-tasking skills to balance a myriad of responsibilities for a fast-moving organization that really is the picture of stability in the Lincoln area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee all journal entries & balance sheet accounts and reconcile both as needed
- Lead all period close processes
- Oversee the accounting system/software administration
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager level experience
- Strong experience in closing month-end, reviewing journal entries, making complex reconciliations and other related accounting duties
- Experience in public accounting and a CPA license would be very beneficial but is not required

The annual base salary for this position is $100000 – $125000 per year (i, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
