Job Description
In this position, you will excel by staying ahead of evolving accounting standards, ensuring compliance with both GAAP and SAP principles, and effectively communicating their impact on the organization. You will collaborate with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment in financial reporting and audits. By leveraging your expertise, you will provide guidance on complex accounting matters, document key financial considerations, and support the development of accounting staff.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and implement accounting standards by staying updated on changes in GAAP and SAP
- Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements
- Assist in preparing audited financial statements, document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, and align reporting standards with the parent company
- Guide and support the department to develop expertise in financial systems, and contribute to operationalizing accounting policies for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting, understanding the general ledger and financial reporting systems
- Strong communication skills with a high level of interest within accounting policy

The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$130,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
