As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial operations by performing various tasks related to accounting and bookkeeping unlocking endless possibilities for yourself and our client company.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Managed customer invoicing, payment tracking, and collections efforts to ensure timely receipt of funds.
- Reconciled customer accounts and resolved payment discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Processed and reviewed vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments in line with agreed terms.
- Managed payment schedules, including check runs, ACH, and wire transfers, ensuring consistent vendor relations.
- Reconciled vendor statements, resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate accounts.
- General Accounting Support:
- Assisted with month-end and year-end close, ensuring all AR and AP transactions were accurately recorded.
- Provided detailed reports and insights on accounts receivable and payable activities to management.
- Ensured compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting
- Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Accounts Payable experience
- Microsoft Excel experience required.
- Must pass pre employment screenings
