Assembly Team Technician
Southington, CT
1st shift 6:45am – 3:15pm Monday – Friday
3rd shift 10:45pm – 7:15am Monday – Friday
$27.00/hour $1.50 shift diff for 3rd
This position is open due to the expansion of our manufacturing operations, necessitating skilled technicians to support our automated assembly processes. The Team Technician will work in the Assembly Department, reporting to the Assembly Supervisor. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of assembly production equipment and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair automatic and semi-automatic assembly production equipment.
- Conduct diagnostic checks on automated equipment and isolate issues with sensors, controllers, and motors.
- Perform repairs utilizing skills in controls, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Complete shift start-up paperwork, including process parameters and checklists.
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical school background is desirable.
- Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, especially with automated systems.
- Proficiency in electronics, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
