Job Description
Join a top designer and manufacturer of fiber optic products as an Assembly Operator. You'll play a key role in processing wafers and bars to produce laser chips for cable TV broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers.
Responsibilities:
- Process and inspect semiconductor chips during manufacturing.
- Set up and operate lapping and polishing machines.
- Measure and record data per ISO 9001 standards.
- Operate manufacturing activities in class 10000 cleanrooms.
- Handle wafers with precision tools like tweezers and microscopes.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and detect defects.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
- Follow cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a cleanroom environment, especially in assembly or manufacturing.
- Skilled in using microscopes, hand tools, and tweezers for small devices.
- Capable of precisely planning, laying out, and operating production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and process documentation is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for delicate work.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
