Job Description
As an Asset Management Analyst (AMA), you will oversee the daily operations of the Enterprise Technology Asset Management (ETAM) computer replacement project. This includes managing the procurement, tracking, and deployment of IT assets to meet county-wide objectives. You will work closely with departments to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and contribute to strategic IT resource management and optimization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the inventory, procurement, and deployment of new computer systems across the organization.
- Develop and maintain accurate asset tracking systems for effective IT resource management.
- Analyze and report on asset lifecycle data to support budgeting and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with vendor contracts and organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with CJIS requirements and other relevant policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in IT asset management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory and asset tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work onsite in Downtown Houston, Monday through Friday.
- CJIS background check required.

The Pay Rate range for this position is $24 – $26 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
