Job Description
This is a nonprofit health insurance organization that provides coverage to individuals primarily in the state of Texas. As a call center representative, you will answer inbound calls from members, providers, and the general public to address inquiries about health plans, benefits, and claims.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, timely, and helpful information about the organization’s services, coverage, and policies.
- Assist with claims inquiries, help members understand their benefits and coverage, and provide support for billing issues.
- Adhere to company policies, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, ensuring member privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
- At least 1 year of call center experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare plans, insurance, and related policies can be beneficial
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
