Bilingual Case Aide
Pay Rate: $19/hr.
Location: Houston, TX 77006
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
A non-profit organization is seeking a Temporary Case Aide to join their team. With your strong organization and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by ensuring the successful integration and self-sufficiency of refugees within the community. Submit your resume today!
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with transportation, orientation, and access to community resources.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and Case Managers.
- Provide translation and interpretation services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to date client records.
- Ensure clients are properly enrolled in internal and funder-provided database.
- Provide orientations at on-site locations such as banks, credit unions, apartments, and grocery stores to teach day-to-day functions.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Haitian, or Ukrainian preferred
- One (1) year experience in an administrative setting.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate clients' schedules.
- Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and database software).
