Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle inbound and outbound calls to collect payments on behalf of clients across the country. This role requires strict compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), as well as high attention to detail when updating account records. You'll be part of a high-volume, fast-paced team where multitasking and professionalism are key to success.
Responsibilities:
- Make and receive calls to collect payments on behalf of clients
- Adhere to FDCPA and all relevant laws and regulations during calls
- Accurately notate and update account records in real time
- Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused communication
- Process payments and ensure accuracy in all transactions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate between multiple systems
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Knowledge of FDCPA, HIPAA, and state/local collection laws (preferred)
- Eligible for licensing in all states (preferred)
- Ability to handle stress and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential

The base pay range for this position is $35,360–$35,360, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
